I've spent some time reading the brief for this project again, and I've decided that my pastiche will be based on Robert Adams Image taken in 1983 'On Signal Hill', Overlooking Long Beach, California'. This is of course dependant on being able to find a suitable location to create my pastiche!

Robert Adams image 'On Signal Hill' can be found in (and on!) a 1986 book, "Los Angeles Spring."
My initial idea for the three free choice images relate to the environment and my son. Play areas or places we play taking some form of key element in the work. Possible ideas include the story of his adsence, or the way the environments come alive or become still when children are absent. Or the way these locations have duel use etc.
