Tuesday 6th March 2012 Fashion Constructed Image Tutorial with Sam Chick 10:00
Again a recent addition to the timetable to enable all groups to identify areas that need attention before the pitch that is due on the 20th March (risk assessments also need to be complete on this day also).
We all spoke during the meeting about our respective roles and the progress of the initial idea into it's current form.
Sacha's scale model (completed especially for the meeting) was used as a visual aid and discussion point throughout the meeting. Formative feedback previously highlighted became an area of discussion and we explained our responce to the feedback. We'd taken the feedback items and divided them up (at yesterdays Production team meeting) within the team to ensure that they were fully explored and completed as tasks prior to the pitch. Key areas to investigate and focus on now are fashion and casting, having done the bulk of the design work on the set/narrative side of the project. Heath and safety and lens testing will also need consideration, a complete build list along with a corresponding budget are also deliverables for the pitch. Our pitch will also need to include visual aids such as casting boards, all work to be completed by the team. It is also a matter of urgency that we get our stylist on board, Lucie as formally proposed a stylist who has informally agreed to assist. This union now needs to be formalised and he needs to be invited to meet the group and discuss how he can assist.
We have scheduled a further production team meeting for this Saturday 10th March. Having had to cancel two previous production meetings due to timetables changes etc, and with the chance to view the props we are combing both activities.
