Production Meeting Agenda/Minutes 5th March

Apologies- None, all present.


1. Minutes- Minutes agreed to be accurate

2. Review individual actions from previous meeting

· Action: SS to investigate wallpapers further and acquire prices- Action complete prices sourced

· Action: MW to acquire year planner and populate-Action Complete

· Action: AO to try alternate window positions/points of view (by next meeting)- Action Complete

· Action: LN plans to complete a detailed blog entry on what was taught at CS’s Set Build workshop (as soon as possible)- Action Complete

· Action: AO and SS to work together to bring some more detailed selections forward in a visual format as soon as possible

· Action: All to start to look for free/available props- Action Complete SS has sourced many of the props we require for free, all team members continue to seek alternates. We have agreed as a team to visit the source of the props and review what is available, this will hopefully be on Saturday 9th March

3. Formative feedback (review) Next Steps;

· Narrative – who are these characters and why are they here?

· Expand casting and closely consider characterisation

· Define location & semiotics therein

· More carefully consider styling strategy/dress including use of key colour

· Set build considerations - depth and layering / glass and rain

Having discussed the above we have divided up the tasks thus:

AO to look at examples of narratives involving actual spy cases especially looking at examples relating to East(asian)/West spy situations.

IW to research further the dynamics of the relationships between male and female protagonists especially in relation to spies in literature film or the media.

LN to research further set build within film theatres and photography (IW already working on testing the rain concept)

MW to look at semiotics of the location, and collate a mission statement based on previous agreed minutes in relation to the project.
