Sacha had proposed that we all view the props today as a team, thus giving us a chance to approve or refuse items. This meant a trip to Cranbrook to rendezvous with the rest of the team, meeting at a convenient location before moving onto where the props are stored. I was slightly delayed by family issue and a GPS issue which was rather annoying but unavoidable.
After examining the props we returned to our initial meeting point to discuss options. As a group we discussed each item and produced a list of what we wanted from each source.
We also went on to discuss collaboration with regards styling and Lucie has requested Tom Williams attend our next Production meeting along with contacting another fashion student Suzy (who has agreed to help)
Desk (on it's side) needing TLC and a little magic. But we'll only be able to see the top in our image. |
One of two desk lamps that could work |
Bog standard hotel style plain cups and saucers |
Art for the wall (very fitting art!) |
Hotel style tray for the cups etc, just in need of some TLC |
Another option for the light |
Rather fetching 1960's suitcases |
Beige! |
Frames |
The TV on it's stand that we all love! |
The kind of sheds the props are stored in. |
I spotted this in shop Sahca has contacts in, this is now on loan to us for free. Ideal to have secret documents slipping out of on a desk! |
Sideboard also spotted by myself and now put aside for our shoot. The mirrors may or may not stay but are easily removed should we not want them. |
We have this desk chair put aside for us also |
Another chair we looked at |
Draft prop locations on set (excuse my very rough sketch!) |
